Olive tree is formidable!
Here are pictures taken yesterday of an olive tree we had to move about 6 years ago because it was planted too close to some others. It did not like having many of its roots and branches cut (necessary to extract it). All its leaves fell off and it showed no new growth of foliage for 2 years. Then it came back to life. Now you see not only foliage but also young flower clusters = this season's nascent olives. Amazing resilience - they are really hard to kill!
