Wine Offer
As a result of a gift, St Peter's College is delighted to be able to offer for sale to alumni and friends wines made by one of our members, Graham Shore (PPE, 1974-1977).
Graham owns Domaine Vintur, a small vineyard in the Rhône Valley, Appellation Ventoux, which makes award-winning red and white wines. Some years ago he ran an event for the College in which alumni and friends helped choose the blend for the 2013 red vintage. He has now offered the College the opportunity to sell some of this wine to our network with the profits going to our Development Fund.
The red wine is a blend of Grenache noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre. and Carignan from old vines and has matured in bottle to be perfect for drinking over the next year or so. It has a touch of oak and the fruit is rich and aromatic. It comes in a bottle with a special St Peter’s College label. There is also a 2017 organic white available in a St Peter’s College label, sales of this will also benefit the College. The white is a medium bodied dry aromatic wine, made predominantly from Grenache blanc and Roussanne. Domaine Vintur has won many awards for its whites which get very positive feedback.
You can buy directly from this website for home delivery in Great Britain for a minimum of 6 bottles.
The red wine is £11/bottle and the white wine is £11.50/bottle with £4.99 for delivery of 6 or more, free delivery for 12 or more.
